The Website Authenticator Chrome extension is designed to verify website authenticity using public WHOIS data accessed through a backend server.
This extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII). It only sends the domain name of the website you're visiting to our Flask backend to fetch WHOIS data for authenticity checks.
Domain names are used solely to perform real-time WHOIS lookups. No user-specific data (such as IP addresses, location, or browser activity) is collected or stored.
We do not log, save, or share any data sent through the extension. All processing is done temporarily for immediate verification.
